We had a contractor tell us today that there is lime in the stone dust we put under the concrete pavers we just put down. (The base was crusher run compacted then a few inches of stone dust.) He said that sand would be a better option because the concrete would take up the lime and breakdown the pavers over time. Does anyone know of this happening? The pavers are 2'x 2'x and surfaces sealed....any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !
