Okay, the previous occupants had a pool and left it - I had the pool removed & still working the deck out... The pool had sand underneath it - mayby just one foot of it. It collects tons of rain water which takes days at a time to evaporate. Can I take grass clippings and place them over the pool/sand area & then place the trampoline on the top of that area. I am not trying to grow the grass there at all - not now or later. Is this alright to do.

Well, I went ahead & moved the trampoline over the sanded area. I am going to get either mulch or wood chips & load it over the sand atleast a good 4-5 inches of it. Well, any thoughts.... believeongod@gmail.com

You should remove the sand if you can. The pooling water will still collect under any mulch/grass clippings and begin to rot and compost. Add topsoil and work it into the sand a bit. Then add a good quality grass seed and you should be ok.

Thanks - that sounds easier than I thought. Last thing I forgot to mention there is also gravel around the sand. Not much but it just looks like a lot of work.
