Has any DIY used horizontal wire instead of ballusters for an outdoor deck railing? Can anyone give me instructions on doing this myself, or give me places that have the wire connectors and wire, and instructions? Thanks!

Haven't used "wire" exactly, but I have used plastic-sheathed cable, and it was very effective. It came from a company in California, if memory serves me correctly, and they sold all the bits and pieces needed to install it. I don't think there's any reason why a DIYer would have any trouble assembling the railing.

Try Google for "cable deck railing" and see what you get. I don't have time now, but I will look later and let you know what I find. Good luck.

I Googled "cable deck railing system" and found 'way too many to list here. I presume you had similar luck, and found the information you need.
