Sure would appreciate hlep on this one...
Am expanding bedroom and had 12x16 foot slab poured.
The north-south foundation level (on both sides)slopes about 1 " over the 12 foot span.
What is the best technique for correcting this when putting up the walls so that finished top plates are level?
Should I shim up the bottom plates with a 2x4 PT ripped shim to go under the standard 2x4 botom plate - OR
Adjust vertical stud lentgths (16" OC) over the 12 foot length which would mean the outside corner stud is 1" inch higher that initial wall stud?
Thanks for any help.
