I had a flood in my house a few days ago and I will have my insurance adjuster on Tuesday. I was told my kitchen and bath cabinets are particle board, and they will start to swell because of them getting wet. I want to make sure the insurance adjuster okay's replacing them. If they say they won't I want to sound knowledgeable in explaining why they need to be replaced. Can anyone tell me exactly what will happen when the swell and what happens over time because of the swelling.
