Does anyone have interest or know of anyone who has interest in old barn wood from buildings built in the homesteading days here in Colorado? The Mack property of about 40 acres is currently for sale and we were wondering what to do with the old buildings.

Whatever you do - DON'T toss the wood. There are people who will buy it. I'm in N. Ca - too far away from you.. try to contact someone in a big city - maybe architectural assoc or decorators. That stuff's worth money for sure. M

Weathered barnwood can be a valuable commodity. Put it on Craig's list or E-bay if nothing else. Check the phone book for a nearby building restoration company. Even if they have no interest, they may know someone who does.
