I think I've entered the sweepstakes every day for at least a year, and suddenly on 1/1/07 when I try to enter and submit, the message is oops, and tells me I already entered or my account info needs to be updated, niether of which is true.This has happened the last three days. Jack
Just wondering why the product of the day has to be on Eastern time. I live on the West Coast and by the time I get online (when I can) many times the product is a day ahead of me. Any reason why the West Coast people have to live life 3 hours ahead of their normal times?
Your not the only one. I've been having the problem for almost 2 weeks now. First it came up with a verify address. Then a you'll be entered after you click the email we just sent you, (which never came). Now it just errors when you click to enter. You would think that HGTV would tell us something.
I've been unable to register for any product for 10 days 2 weeks since ther registration form has changed. Even though I've been registered for 2 years I keep getting a request for "more information" and the registration process NEVER completes.
Not to worry. I think they hired some fired AOL guys because since Netscape was taken over by AOL my Netscape mail sometimes works and usually doesn't. BTW: you all are correct. HGTV doesn't care about us, they just want you to buy their products and s--- us li'l guys.
There are multiple posts about this problem but they are scattered among the various boards on this website. There should be one board that concentrates on sweepstakes and contests only, so maybe everyone can read all the posts without having to search all the boards. The problem is still not fixed, and it has been going on since last year.
I have been entering the Product of the Day Sweepstakes since it first started. At first I found it annoying that I had to double-click on the daily product to take me to the next screen, then I got accustomed to that. Then recently it only took one click, and I thought, oh, good, they got it right. Yeah. Yesterday and again today I can click until my finger falls off and nothing will get me to the next screen so I can enter all. I've tried coming into the site the long way, instead of using the link I have, still no click gets me in. I am feeling a bit cheated here? And no,it isn't my computer, it is working fine as is the mouse on everything else

Lingua, I'm having the same problem. It started on 4/10. I use Firefox. I found it still works in Internet Explorer. I sent email about it, but haven't received a response.

Please see all the posts about this problem that are on multiple boards on the HGTVPro website! The problem with the contests has been occurring since at least October 2007. You have to read the posts on the other boards to get a better grasp of how bad the problem really is.
Like so many others, it would appear, I have been entering the Product of the Day Sweepstakes since it's inception. It progressively got harder to gain access and now the pages won't load at all. Is this a system problem?
I came to the message boards, logged out, logged back in and it signed me up for todays sweepstakes (product of the day). FINALLY. I haven't been able to click on the product of the day for so long. It is so annoying-how hard is it to just fix it!!!
i've been having problem too .i've thinh i gotten throw 1 out of 4 maybe i don't know even if that one actaully went in even thing seems to be working until i go to the enter button it hightlighted but that all one time i just keep switdhing from winner list too the sweepstake page and all of the sudden it said thank you for entering i been enter atleast cents jan it only been the last 3 or 4 times that i haven't been able too
