Hi All, I am looking for info. and references for a small powered hand tool that would cut through thick wooden Gourds without cracking them. Need tool to be powerful yet delicate. Thanks in advance

you want to use a Roto-Zip tool or a Dremal tool. Its like a router and many bits are available for both for cutting, grinding and polishing. You can find them at all big box stores and many Ace hardware stores.
