In 1999 I purchased a 1980 Cavco double wide modular home with two rooms built on . My problem is that it seems the entire floor now needs to be replaced! Evidently there was water damage to the floor in the past, judging by the dips and waves now throughout the house. (Obviously, the floor seemed fine, even to the company I hired to check it out before I purchased!) I would like as much info as possible before I rip out the carpet. Are these floors typically made of MDF? Can any of you let me know the questions to ask and the people to contact for this problem. Any help you can give me is very much appreciated.
Thank you
Gibson
