I am 'forced' to pay an extortion fee to the local HBA just to get a discount on my workmens comp & other insurance !
I just read on your site here that the HBA says 'Great, mortgage bailout by government.' We are AMERICANS !! What is with you people ??!
Go back in history to our early CONgress. There was a major Fire. The 'do-gooders' (HBA) said Yes, let's take public money and help out. ONE patriotic Congressman from down South said NO. We do not have the lawful right to spend government funds on private Citizens' mishaps.
But let 'us' pass the Hat and I will be the 1st to donate my meager pay to their plight.
Sound familiar guys ?! Our government has NO lawful business bailing out bozos who wanted a quick buck in the prior inflated housing boom !
IF one took out an exhorbitant ARM & couldn't pay, let the BANK get stuck with it, or re-negotiate for a reasonable fixed rate.
GREED, at all levels, is KILLING our country.
Don't be a part of it; don't ask for bailouts, & just WORK, from sunup to sundown, by the sweat of your brow. (hmmm, wonder where that phrase came from ).
