I'm thinking of installing a Ultraviolet Filtration system to my duct work. Does UV filtration REALLY work?

Regular UV Light is not effective in your ductwork. In order for the UV light to do anything, the particles must be within a certain distance from the bulb (4") for a certain period of time. In a central ac/heat system this is impossible because the air just blows right past the light. As a result the light does nothing for you but allow you to spend your money and give you a false sense of security.

Sorry to disagree Mr Clean Air, But 80% of all mold, virus and bacteria passing within site of UV-C will be rendered harmless, destroyed or at least have its DNA scrambled so it can not reproduce as long as it passes at accectable speed. Generally 500 fpm velocity.
UV-A or B are not nearly as effective.
