I have been looking for a week now for a black/wrought iron cabinet hinge to replace the horrid brass hinges that are on some kitchen cabinets. I have contacted many distributers and none make a 1/4" half wrap self closing door hinge... is this possible?...that noone has this product?...Any advice on what to do? I have my heart set on the black cabinet pulls and hinges...but I have just enough OCD to prevent me from straying too far and going with two totally different finishes. Why can't I afford new cabinets....it would make my life so much easier!!! :0) Any advice or suggestions would greatly be appreciated....oh...and i've already tried primering and lightly coating the old set of hinges to a black...the hardware guy told me it was worth a try...but alas...that didn't work ...
Being from MN, there is a company here call Woodworkers Hardware. They do have 1/4" overlay hinges-black. But in your case, are your doors inset into the frame? If so I no of no one that makes a self closing hinge because of the inset ther is no room for the spring return. Hope this helps you. By the by the web site is http://wwhardware.com/

There phone is (800) 383-0130 Go to the web site and click on cabinet hinges-decorative hinges-self closing. Hope this helps
