my wife and i own a cape style farmhouse north of atlanta we had custom built in 1984... the kids are grown and bringing the grandkids by now and we would be intrested in talking with the hgtv folks about helping us with some ideas etc. for some pretty major renovations in exchange for having our home featured on one of your shows ... we checked the website and no shows that are currentely in production seem to fit the bill .... the house sits on a very unique piece of land with a lot of frontage on a very scenic creek, there is even an 1840's covered bridge adjacent to the property and the entire property is in the middle of a historic district ...we believe it would attract viewer appeal because there are literally thousands of these type houses from this era that homeowners such as ourselves are considering remodeling .... if u work for hgtv you can contact me from this website ...if not u can just answer me on here with your comments positive or negative Smiler ...thanks

I have not ever seen a reply on this board from anyone at hgtv, that I know of. Occasionally a complaint about the login process will get a reply, but even that is pretty rare.

There are a ton of diy shows out there, but I don't know anyone personally who has ever been featured on one, nor do I have any idea how to get the attention of a producer or whoever lines up the projects. The house flipping craze that was so popular for a while seems to have dwindled out, as well, though. I can't imagine why!! Big Grin
Best of luck with your endeavors, both in renovation and in searching for some help.

You are on the wrong site for this question.
Try the the site www.hgtv.com Got to the bottom of page where it says Services. There is a link for Be on HGTV.

HGTVPRO which is this site is for answers to questions from professional contractors who give back some of their time to help homeowners like yourself.

Good luck with your project.
