HGTVPro has added commodity prices to the homepage and News page, and we'd like to make our website even more useful for you. You can help by telling us the following:

What other commodity prices would you like to see?

Where do you normally go for information on building material prices?

I think it's a neat thing to provide, just as a kind of general indicator of where prices have been and might be going. I don't have the storage space to take too much advantage of the market when it's down, but this might give me a basic idea of where the prices I have to pay might be in a week or two.

I'd like to see concrete prices if that's possible. Also maybe if the prices could be broken down a little further it would be helpful.

concrete and cement would be good. i keep reading that it's going up, then i hear it's not. also roofing materials, those have been a little hard to get sometimes because of the hurricanes. if those prices go up it's a problem, too. it would be nice to know, altho i guess probably noone knows for sure

I'm interested to see the prices of the following products as listed in the New York City area: Italian marble (terrazzo), cedar, Maple, Cherry, Oak, Poplar primed, bamboo, fiberglass, cork, steel, iron, galvanized steel, coppertubing, ... you know, generally everything - it may be worth making a comprehensive list. thanks, Fishfool @ The Reef Tank
