Just go to RULES, then ENTER, and it will go through. I can't see a pic, so I guess it for the product of that day. Anyway, it works for me, so try it. Lemme know if it works for you too. BTW, this is my first post here.
Please see multiple posts about this on several different message boards on this site. They are not all in one place! This solution for going through "rules" only works occasionally. The problem has been going on since October 2007, and several of us have written to HGTVPro with poor responses from them. They say the problem has been fixed (IT HAS NOT), or they are working on it.
I cannot even log in at the HGTVPro sweepstakes form, let alone snake in an entry through the rules page and have not been able to do so from my home computer (Mac OS 9) since this HGTVPro sweepstakes site went online --- I do think that HGTV management should replace the current high Java /Flash content form with a more basic HTML form that will allow more people to enter for these really good sweepstakes prizes and visit the HGTVPro web site content...
I did not seem to have any problem recently entering an online sweepstakes at Toolseeker.com and winning a pair of Hitachi routers...HGTV management should get on top this ongoing problem at the HGTVPro Product of the Day sweepstakes site, eve n if it means bringing in a new web design team.
I have tried everything I know how to do to Enter today, including everything suggested on the Message Boards as well as the new URL that was posted. I can get the initial page to enter to download, and when I click on Enter, I get the login page, but when I click on login, I continuously get a Script Error that won't allow me to login. I have been entering the POTD Sweeps for more than 2 years without any problem, why now?
I think they just block out areas from time to time. Cuz now mine isn't working again... But I emailed myself the link I put up, that works. For me anyway. I'll see if it works tomorrow.
I have tried FOREVER to enter the sweepstakes and very RARELY can get the submit button to work. I have decided that HGTVPro does not care enough about contractors and builders who would like to participate in the sweepstakes. Their customer/member care department is INCREDIBLY lacking in service. Why bother messing with it when you are dealing with a company/website administrator who cares so little...? There are plenty of other product sweepstakes that care more so I guess I will just start going to them.
