Hi all, I live in an a-frame style house that has textured t111 for siding. The house sits on a concrete block foundation. The exposed block part of the house was just covered with what i would call stucco. Due to poor drainage of the rain gutters (which i have since fixed) the stucco has cracked. This has allowed me to see that one there was no waterproofing membrane put on the exposed sections of block.
and that it was put on thin.
I would like your ideas on using
1. elastomeric paint--This would allow me to seal it and give me protection from water seepage on the exposed sections of the foundation.
2. cladding it in fieldstone. Would i be able to simple put down some metal lath and put my fieldstone (i have tons) on top. Or do i have to seal it first
3. paint with elastomeric and then put fieldstone on top?

thank you
forgeblast
