Due to cost, I have decided to try scraping and painting my wood siding, one story over the above ground basement window (regular double window). Is using that metal brush attachment a good idea? Must I prime the area? What type paint? I ususally pay for this work, but now I can't and it's very ugly - a heavy rain and wind last week took all the loose paint off. The yard is on a slope, that's whay I won't try a ladder. There are two windows in the middle, it's about 20' long by 12' high. Thanks for any help.

Any and all bare wood areas must be primed.
There just no way trying to use an extention pole is going to be able to make sure each and every spot gets scraped and painted correctly.

Where all stupid, just in different subjects.
