I've installed Alcoa roof over ridge vent (ROVAR) on a few roofing projects. The first generation of this product literally is coming apart. About three years ago I used the 2nd generation of this product and small pieces of leaves, pine needles and snow are entering the attic. I found out that right after I installed the product it was removed from the market for reasons unknown. Has anybody else experienced these conditions with this ridge vent and why was it removed from the suppliers stock?
