I am considering the purchase of a new home that unfortunately has MANY nail pops. The builder says the nail pops are not uncommon and is nothing to worry about. From what I've been told, being in the South (Louisiana) already shortens the life of the shingle because our summers here are so hot. I'm assuming the nail pops would shorten the life of the shingles as well. Does anyone know if this is correct? And/Or have an opionion about this?
