Hi! I have a fiberglass exterior door that is showing some sun damage...some peeling and slight discoloration of the honey oak color. Would like to know the best way to bring it back to its original beauty. Thank you. Responses from this forum has been very helpful. Joey G

First I'd contact whoever made the door for there suggestions.
Anyone I've redone I used gel stain on it.

Thanks JoeCaption. Aside from using the gel stain, someone also suggested using marine or spar varnish to protect it. JoeyG

You could of cource seal it with that but then you will be stuck with having to sand the whole door and reseal it agin every few years to get off the peeling spar or poly. With just the poly it will just fade not peel.

Good idea. I just did not know the difference between spar vs poly. Thanks.
