I saw in another post, discussion about the removal/ replacement of the asbestos type of siding. I have a 2 family home I am rehabbing that has this on it. It is generally in good shape other than ready for fresh paint. However, I have some cracked and broken panels. I can obtain replacements from my local supply house, but my problem involves the instalation.
What is the best way to remove the damaged panels without cracking the one above? I have had no success so far. So, where are all you old pros who installed and repaired this stuff "back in the day" as they say?
Any suggestions would be welcome.
