I have some finger jointed redwood siding that has been weathered and some sun damage and I'm looking to find the best stain or finish to apply. Also if anyone knows where I could buy more of this finger jointed Redwood lap siding I would greatly appreciate it. The last owners did all but 2 sides of the house with the new siding dueing a remodel (can't figure out why) and I would like to make the house match.

Thanks, Rick

Sikkens makes wonderful staining products. They have transparent stains with tints that are just gorgeous. I like the Sikkens product line alot. Cabots also has some nice stains as well. With both products remember less is more. You don't need to gobb it on. Check out the Sikkens website for more info on their product and where you can buy it. http://www.nam.sikkens.com/index-english.cfm
Just cut and paste as I don't know how to link on here.

Good luck! Oh and check your local lumber yard to hunt down your siding.
