Most people haven't a clue as to what "green" products really are. Did you know that most of our lumber comes from sustainable forests. That means for every tree that is cut down another one is planted in it's place. So when you replace cabinetry in your home you need to find out if it is "green" product or is it that fake wood product.

What you need to look for is the FSC certified label [Forest Stewardship Council]. Most all lumber that I buy is either FSC or comes from sustainable sources.

Yes a lot of people care about it. I talk to clients quite often that ask about it.
