Considering starting a handyman business. Interested in seeing how many people would be willing to hire a handyman to perform work around there home and what types of work they could perform for them.
Many homeowners have very busy schedules and may also lack the skills to do "handyman" type projects around their homes. A business such as that is built upon nothing but reputation, so bend over backwards to keep your first few customers happy, even if you don't even make minimum wage. Once you agree to take on a job, whether you make money or not is probably etched in stone, so what you don't want to happen is to not make money and get a bad recommendation besides. The recommendation is what counts, because that's what keeps you in business, and make sure you keep that attitude always. Worry about the money on the next job. Do good careful work, and there will be no end to the customers. It all depends on whether you can survive long enough to build a reputation.
