I think I have a basement floor problem. We were effected by the Noreaster that came through NJ this past spring. The basement has been refinished with the exception of the carpeting.

I was putting the finishing touches on the closet doors. After finishing the painting on the last door I placed on some base molding to elavate it above the floor. I went back to install it a week and a half later to find that not only did the molding have mold on it but the back of the closet door which is closer to the floor was also mold covered.

Drylock was already applied to the floor. Should I put a 4 mill plastic down or no?
