I have Heartland Gluess laminate - the measurements are 24.00 sq ft...

"47 5/8 x 8 1/16 x 9/32" (9 planks per box (12 boxes)

Is this enough for 2 rooms at the size od 10x12?

Even figuring 10% for waste and cutoffs you should have plenty even if your room measurements aren't quite exact. By my numbers you have 20% more than the square footage needed, but still be careful and reuse your endcuts to start at the other end of the next row. It's always better to have some left for later repairs; much easier than trying to match up colors and patterns later.

So, Im guessing I may actually have enough left for another room (12x14) since there are 16 boxes of 9 plans (24 sq ft - per box).

Right

I think you'll be short on that third room. 16 boxes times 24 sq ft = 384. 12x14 room = 168 sq ft. Times 3 rooms that comes to 504 + say 10% for waste, my numbers say you'd need about 7 more boxes.

I got by with less than 5% waste on real hardwoods by taking my time and selecting the right boards to fit so you should be able to beat that with laminates, but you'd still need to buy some more.

bog,

According to my calculations you are covering 408 s/f total. If you figure in 10% waste you come up with 448.8 s/f. Divided by 24 suare feet per box is 19 boxes total. You will definitely need 7 more boxes. If you are wondering about laminate floors see Guide to Laminate Floors.
