I am looking at installing this, has anyone got any experience of it from Lumber Liqudiators?
This is for a dry basement over a concrete poured floor, was going to go with the $50/roll expensive padding/underlay, followed by the 9/16" schon quick clik 7.5" width natural flooring (code DURCLBAMHN)
Any opinions greatly appreciated!
I will be laying around 600 sq. ft. Any idea on a time estimation for this?
Thanks Lee

Bamboo floors should not go below grade on install. All the bells and chimes will not prevent the flooring from bowing if any dampness occures. One failure of the water proofing system will destroy the floor. If you read the manufactures install they will say somewhere on the install directions if this floor can be installed below grade. I do not think it can. AS far as time to install. Depending on your experiance, tools, and assistant your going to use as well as the layout It can take a long weekend to do, or a week. But an experianced flooring person with everything there should do it in two days from start to cleanup with edge trim installed.

I went through the floor selection planner on their website, and specifically chose basement as the location and on concrete as the installation base, and this was one of the floorings that they list as good for basement installations.
The basement is only approx 1/4 below grade, with 3/4 of it at grade or better and a walk out with 3 large windows on other walls.
Luckily the basement is and has been extremely dry for the 18 months that we have owned the house.
It will be me installing the flooring alone partially, with a friend helping some, he has done some previously, I have not. I am taking a couple days off work so I have 4 days straight to run at trying to complete the install.
It is 600 sq. ft. in a U shape, with a room at the top of each end of the U a large area at the bottom and a 3ft corridor up one side of the U and a 6ft up the other.
Thank you for the prompt response!

Sounds like a plan then. Be sure to check the warranty on the flooring also. There may be some sort of disclaimer because of dampness. Be sure that the material is correctly placed under the floor before putting down the bamboo. Take pictures of the install at all phases and follow the directions carefully. If you ever have a claim because of failure you can show the photos to the company so they cannot wiggle out of the install because you did not do something right.
