Yes those were chhep builders materials for carpet- now I have the stairs to complete along with the triming. So, the stairs are being painted whit (with a primer) and then a high gloss for a lasting look & durability (I suppose that makes it last & have durability)???? Also there are corners that are hard to fit the trimming (wood)in those 1 inch corners. It just doesnt look as if it will fit well... why is that.... I see trimming along the long areas but then those short (1 inch door way & corners ar ejust a bit tidious maybe.... any suggestions. I just want my home back - It's a lot of work & has been I think 4 days of work....
