Hi all,

I need to know quantity...because this is tumbled stone which is very porous and has a lot of holes, i know i should use the lower estimate of coverage. I am looking at Enrich and Seal by Aquamix. It is expensive and i know I'll need alot of it and since I need to ship to the Caribbean, i need to get the amount i need right the first time! It is off white and i really want to enhance it as much as possible. I am thinking 3 coats...second coat an hour after first and 3rd coat after it finishes curing 48 hours later. Here's my main question...will the coverage be better on the 2nd two coats....or should i assume I will really need a gallone for every 500SF (the bottle says 500-1500SF coverage). Each gallon is $189!!!! and i have 2200SF...that is 13 gallons or $2457!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I crazy? I saw their other product "Stone Enhancer" but could not get a price online....i assume it is cheaper because it only lasts 3 years as opposed to 15. I dont' want to have to go through this again in 3 years! Any suggestions whould be tremendously appreciated. ALso, it says it darkens grout....more than the stone?!?

Your coverage might be a little better on the second and third coat, but not that much better. You're going to find your stone isn't as absorbandt as you think. As for theg rout, it'll darken to the point it is when wet.
