We are going to have our 7’ x 5’ bathroom remodelled in the next couple of months. The materials we are looking at including; Bathtub, lighting, Showerhead, wall mount sink
Wall Tile, Floor tile, toilet seat, Medicine cabinet and tap will cost approximately $3000.

Here is what we would like to have done:
Replace old bathtub with new bathtub:
Replace olds wall tile in tub surround and tile 42’ up walls. (110 sq. ft.)
Replace old wall mount sink with new wall mount
Replace old flooring with new flooring (25 sq. ft.)
Recess medicine cabinet
Paint remaining walls and ceiling
Add a half width frameless bathtub/shower partition (price not included above as I have no idea of the cost)

For the whole project including labour, do think $8,000 is reasonable? Or should I get my head checked? We live in Toronto Canada.

Thanks!

Hi Tamara,
Is that $8,000 USD or "Loonies"? Smiler It doesn't sound like you are moving any electrical or plumbing, so you are saving money there. What do you plan to put on the floor? It looks like you are in the skinny-area of the ballpark, depending on the finishes you're planning to use, but at that price you'll want to make sure that whomever you hire is licensed and accountable.
Best of luck,
Shaughnn
