We have found some contractors in our area who donate to our non-profit organization; have had a very good reception from their customer base. Some have donated materials and some are financial donors; which works best because we cannot store large amounts of materials. While their customers can pay for their services, ours cannot. We repair homes for those who cannot afford to do so. Since our services are virtually identical, our organization and local contractors who take advantage of the good PR have found a very interesting and wonderful relationship that the whole community benefits from.
I recommend this type of practice in other areas, you'll like the outcome.
