I have conflicting information about both types of bathtubs. Is the finish on a cast iron tub going to last longer? Will the water stay warmer and will the tub be quieter than an Americast style tub? About the only thing I know with certainly is the Aemericast tub is much lighter in weight.

Any feed back or experiences you can provide would be appreciated.
