our shower head is broken off in the wall. We have a ceramic tile shower. How is the best way to get the peice that is still in the wall out? My husband is disabled and I will have to try to get it out so we can put in a new one. Thanks for any help........bluebell

Best bet is to get a plumber there to do this for you. It sounds like the threads of the old shower head pipe are left behind in the fitting. They make special tools to remove this type of issue, but can be tricky and could cause the pipe to break in the wall. If a closet or a sheetrock wall is behind the shower head and this happens do not break the tile, cut the wall make the repair from the sheetrock side then patch and paint much better way of doing this.

I forgot to tell you that my husband is disabled and needs the shower. We are retired and on a fixed income of below poverty level and do not have the money to do the shower.
