Need help in removing tub drain assembly.A "Not me"ghost broke off stopper from strainer body, and now I'm having trouble removing strainer body that has been set for 9 yrs. Does anyone knoe how to remove it or is there a special tool to insert into main body that would grip into sides and twist it out. Any Helpful advice would be appreciated. Thanks txgonzo

There is a tool available. Any quality plumber should have one or go to a plumbing supply house and see if they can sell youi one. Is probably just easier to call a plumber to remove old drain though.
