I READ THAT SPRAY FORM INSULATION IS THE BEST WAY TO GO TO INSULATE A HOME, BUT I WAY TOLD THAT IN HOT WEATHER AREAS LIKE FLORIDA I SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM IT. ALSO, I WAY TOLD THAT IF THERE IS A FIRE THIS STUFF SMOKES LIKE HELL. ANYBODY HAS ANY INFO ON THIS STUFF?

The internet is FULL of information. Search for (a) extruded polystyrene foam insulation or (b) expanded polystyrene foam insulation or (c) polyisocyanurate foam insulation to start with. There are other foams also, such as one made from soybeans, but I don't know much about it.

Most foams are required by building codes to be protected by non-combustible material such as gypsum board, because, yes, most foams emit toxic fumes. Polyisocyanurate is a bit better in this respect.

Do the research, and ask your architect!
