We have a few shingles that "flap in the breeze" when it gets really windy here in west TX. How can I stick them down so I won't be climbing that ladder every few months?

THANKS,
Arby

what has happened is the asphalt tab under the shingle has failed. You need to place a dab of roof cement. Good quality stuff. and push the shingle tab back into it. Once it sets the shingle should no longer blow in the breeze.

You can get this ashpalt in a caulk tube form so you do not need to purchase to much and its much faster and cleaner to apply.

The Roofing Distributors (yellow pages) will sell you what the pros use.
One product works in wet conditions and will even cure underwater for emergencies.
Dust under the shingle can be a bond breaker. Wipe between the shingles with alcohol on a rag.
One 10 ounce tube will tab a bunch of shingles.
Just a spot the size of a dime and press the shingles together.
