Are your clients beginning to show any interest in more traditional kitchens, or do they still want sleek, contemporary-style cabinetry?

What is the deal with stainless steel? Most uses of it just make the place look like Waffle House!

LOL. I hear ya. I painted a kitchen a couple months ago that the appliances, countertop, backsplash, and cabinets were all stainless steel and the homeowner wanted to paint the kitchen white. He asked me what I thought and I said that it might be too industrial closer to institutional. In the end the homeowner agreed and asked me for colors so we got some color in there. But it still looks like a cafeteria kitchen!
