I am working on a 5 apartment building. I replaced the 80 gallon water heater and the circulating pump. When I turn the hot water on, hot water spurts out initially, then it shuts down. Very little hot water comes out. I have the circulating pump installed properly. The cold water comes out fine. How can I fix this problem? Where should I look.

1. Double check your flow checks and make sure they are going in the correct direction.
2. Double check your circulater too

Is the hotwater heater filled up and heating the loop? If so, open the drain at the bottom of the tank and see if water comes out.
