I was hosing my siding in the back yard & did it extensively not knowing that water was seeping into my basement. Thus far water dripped there on my carpet & it has that smell of sour carpet or something. How can I get that out. I have NEVER opened my basement windows and I know no pipes are broken or leaking so it was from me hosing extensively.... what can I do to rid that smell.
