Our house is built on a slab. We have a small room (~70" X 65") as part of our master bath ... it is the john and a small shower.

I would like to move the john to the other wall, ~3' from where it is now. I know this will mean breaking out the cement. My question is...can the drain that is now the john drain, be used as another shower drain as it is in line with (on the same wall as) the shower drain now.??

You really won't know the answer unless you know how the drains are ran, which will probably require cutting the cement out.

The main issue with moving the toilet is wether there will be enough downhill pitch on it to drain right, which will depend where the toilet is on the drain pipe.

You can call a plumber and get a estimate. S/he will be able to get a much better idea on the possible layout than we can.
