Concrete board typically needs to be screwed as well as set into thinset mortar when applying over 3/4" structural panel subflooring.
Typical thinset troweling thickness for both tile and concrete board is 3/8" to 1/2" for both tile and concrete board.
Because this is only toothed trowel thickness, however, and because the mortar will spread as the concrete board and tile is pressed into place, you might get a realistic added thickness with mortar at each location of about 1/4".
So you should bear that in mind.
Just remember, however, that is is nearly impossible to determine with any complete accuracy whether your new floor will be precisely even with the existing floor outside, nor is it necessary that they align perfectly for height.
1/8" would be impossible to notice under most circumstances and you will probably need to install a transition molding between the tile and wood floor anyhow.
